I am currently working on a project where I am recreating the San Diego Chargers logo. I made by using paint and painting stripes, then I drew a shield in the middle. After I was done drawing the shield I drew a small circle and a s and d in the middle to represent San Diego. I challenged myself by making the stripes a certain distance apart and make the shield. In my artwork I used line the most. All of the stripes have long, straight, diagonal, thin lines that make up the background of my logo.

The studio habit of mind I used was I create original art. I used that saying that I say "Ball is Life" and put it into a splatter painting. I did not use a source of inspiration. The first thing I did to make this was I took tempera paint and blended it with other colors like red and blue and then I splattered it on the paper. The colors that I used in this painting was red, blue, purple, yellow, green, orange, pink, and blue spray paint. I blended white in with other colors to get different shades of colors. Then I wrote ball is life with the sponge brushes. I would describe my line as very creative. I used value in this art because there are different shades of each color. Next i used blue spray paint and sprayed over the whole painting. I also used line, I took two colors and then just scribbled on the art. I used the sponge brushes to write "Ball is Life". I was inspired a little when Alex made his first painting with the splatter and the saying, "Ball is Life".
This is the project i have been working on. The studio habit that I choose is I solve problems. I solved problems because I didn't know how to draw the face of the deer and so I asked Mrs. Bailey How to draw a face and she showed me how to. When i created my art I had a bit of trouble when I was making the antlers because it was hard to get them straight so i tried over and over to get them straight but in the end it turned out very good.
Edgar J. Brown is the artist I am posting about. I connect to the artist because he makes art on sports and I play sports. He uses a pencil to draw his art. He uses a lot of value because he has the different guys pants a different shade of blue. He also uses lines to show the lines of fans in the crowd and the lines on the field marking yardlines.
